Our goal is to inspire children to explore the wonders of nature and understand the evolution, growth, and sustainability of life on Earth. Cretaceous Park highlights the evolution of life with a focus on giant reptiles, including a life-sized Tyrannosaurus Rex and smaller moving dinosaurs that delight visitors of all ages. Visitors can also see cute dinosaur chicks hatching from their eggs.
In the Aviary Corner, visitors can see lovebirds, budgerigars, and cockatiels, while the Non-Flying Bird Corner features geese and silver pheasants. This setup allows for a fascinating exploration of different species of exotic birds, their unique habitats and watch animal behaviours up close. It’s an engaging experience for all who appreciate nature.
The Cactus Corner and Succulent Corner display over 50 varieties of these unique plants, showcasing their distinct characteristics. Cacti are known for their thick, fleshy stems and spines, which help them retain water in arid conditions. Succulents, on the other hand, often have fleshy leaves and come in a variety of shapes and colors. Visitors can learn about the fascinating adaptations that allow these species to thrive in harsh environments, making it an engaging and educational experience for nature enthusiasts.
Each section within the park showcases a diverse range of plant species, complete with their botanical names, photographs, and uses. The Ornamental Plant Beds feature decorative houseplants like crotons, dracaenas, and bonsai. In the Economic Plant Beds, visitors can explore economically significant fruit plants. The Aromatic Plant Beds highlight fragrant plants. Lastly, the Medicinal Plant Beds display important medicinal plants, offering insights into their health benefits.
The plant tissue culture lab is designed to educate and demonstrate the principles and techniques of plant tissue culture, highlighting its applications in research, agriculture, and conservation in a 100sq mt area with an interesting Hexagonal structure. The plant tissue culture lab is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of the latest plant biotechnology advancements among farmers, students, and visitors. By bridging the gap between science and practical application, we aim to empower our community to embrace innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture.
The Butterfly Park is designed to replicate the natural habitats of butterflies, featuring a variety of feed and nectar-bearing plants that attract these beautiful insects. Visitors have a unique opportunity to study the complete life cycle of butterflies, from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis and adult. This immersive experience also allows exploration of biodiversity and highlights the crucial role butterflies play in our ecosystems. Additionally, the favorable conditions in this section also attract a variety of other insects, including bees and beetles.
The River System exhibit at Life Science Park illustrates how rivers originate in hilly areas and flow into larger bodies of water. It includes features like the merging of three rivers, a check dam, and the formation of deltas at river mouths. Visitors can also explore components like lagoons, oxbow lakes, waterfalls, and the sea, showcasing the connections within river ecosystems and their role in nature.
