SCIENCE SAFAR 2024

  1. Gujarat Council of Science City (GCSC), working under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat is emerging as an effective and large-scale science education and popularization platform in the country.
  2. Gujarat Science City has Hall of Space and Hall of Science to provide the basic information about science and space. The modern technology 3D IMAX theatre provides crystal clear three dimension picture experience to visitors. Further, students can get amazing experience of Mission to Mars through virtual ride. The Energy Park has various types of exhibits of renewable and non-renewable energy.
  3. In addition, GCSC has opened Aquatic Gallery, Robotics Gallery and Nature Park and the Science City is becoming world-class science destination for all age peoples.
  4. Gujarat Science City has celebrated different programmes on different subject like Science Days, Science Week, and Scientist Birthdays with link together of Students, Parents, Teachers, General Public and Media. Gujarat Science City is an initiative of the Government of Gujarat to make science popular in the State and Country.
  5. In addition, GCSC organized various educational programmes Vacation Training Programme on Bioresources, Science Olympiad, Science Carnival, World Science Day, National Technology Day and celebrated great scientist birthday, world famous day for students, teachers, science communicators, common people as well media person round the year.
  6. As large scale science popularization platform of state and country, GCSC has made MoU with IIT, Gandhinagar for organization of special STEM workshops for the school students and Science shows for interested peoples. GCSC has planned to conduct around 180 STEM workshops in upcoming 180 days in Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad.
  7. In order to encourage the visit of school students, GCSC has arranged 1:00 hrs STEM workshop along with educational tour of all theme-base galleries of Gujarat Science City with complementary entry of registered students. The workshop will be organized from Tuesday to Friday during 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
