Astronomy and Space Science Gallery

The Astronomy and Space Science Gallery is designed as an abstract Solar System, featuring a dome planetarium, observatory, VR zones, and exhibits on the past, present, and future of space science, including India’s space achievements. The Astronomy and Space Science Gallery comprises five blocks, with a central high-ceilinged atrium enclosed in transparent glazing. At its heart, a suspended brass-plated globe represents the Sun, visible from outside and serving as a striking focal point. The complex covers 12,797 square meters. The massing of the four surrounding blocks is carefully subdivided into two parts, providing a metaphorical representation of the Solar System, with the eight planets orbiting around the central Sun. Visitors experience interactive exhibits and galleries providing a comprehensive and immersive journey through the fascinating world of astronomy and space science. The Astronomy and Space Science Gallery features five main sections, Planetarium and VR section.
