    SPECIE NAME:Sepia pharaonis

    COMMON NAME OF THE SPECIE: Common cuttlefish

    LOCATION: Indo-west pacific & maditerranean sea, from red sea to Japan & Australia

    HABITAT: Commonly found over sand & sea grass bed.

    SIZE: Upto 43 cm Upto 5 KG

    DIET: They feed on crustaceans, molluscs, polychaetes, small demersal fish as well as other cuttlefish.

    FACT: They are able to shoot a cloud of black ink at predators when threatened. They feed by catching their prey by two powerful tentacles which shoot out from beneath the creatures eyes.
