    SPECIE NAME:Amphiprion ocellaris

    COMMON NAME OF THE SPECIE: False Clown Fish

    LOCATION: They are found in the Indo-West Pacific with includes the eastern Indian Ocean, Thailand, Malaysia, and NW Australia to Singapore, then through Indonesia, Philippines, and north to the Taiwan and Ryukyu Islands of Japan

    HABITAT: Amphiprion ocellaris typically lives in small groups on outer reef slopes or in sheltered lagoons at a maximal depth of 15 meters. It inhabits three different species of sea anemones: Heteractis magnifica, Stichodactyla gigantea and Stichodactyla mertensii and have symbiotic relationships with the anemone.

    SIZE: Upto 8 cm Upto 0.005 kg

    DIET: The Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivores. In the wild, They feed on algie copepods & zoo plantons

    SPECIE NAME:Amphiprion clarkii

    COMMON NAME OF THE SPECIE: Clark's anemonefish

    LOCATION: They have a large distribution in the Indo – West Pacific Ocean, from the Persian Gulf to Western Australia, then the Western Pacific throughout the islands of Micronesia and Melanesia, and north to Taiwan, Southern Japan and Ryukyu Islands.

    HABITAT: Lives in Shallow lagoons or Sheltered Reefs.

    SIZE: Upto 14cm Upto 0.01kg

    DIET: The Clark’s Clownfish are omnivores. In the wild they feed on zoo plankton, benthic algae and weeds, small shrimp, amphipods, polychaete worms, and more. In the aquarium they will eat a wide variety of live, frozen and flake foods. They will also consume naturally growing algae in the tank..

    FACT: The Clark's Clownfish is a showy anemonefish that is hardy and easily kept in the home aquarium!

    SPECIE NAME:Entacmaea quadricolor

    COMMON NAME OF THE SPECIE: Bubble Tip Anemone

    LOCATION: The Entacmaea quadricolor is found in the Indo-Pacific Ocean including Red Sea

    HABITAT: These anemones are commonly found at intertidal zones to depths of about 130 feet (40 m). Smaller Bubble Tip Anemones are found in shallow clear water reefs.

    SIZE: Upto 30 cm

    DIET: It is not necessary for them to be fed by Clown fish they host, though clowns will often carry chunks of food to the anemone. In the aquarium, you can feed your E. quadricolor chopped shrimp, krill, and mussels, fresh chopped fish (from your grocery store), as well as frozen carnivore preparations. Do not feed them silversides. as there have been numerous stories of these killing them.

    FACT: The Bubble-Tip Anemone is a favorite of aquarists and highly favored by clownfish, hosting 13 different species in the wild!

    SPECIE NAME:Macrodactyla doreensis

    COMMON NAME OF THE SPECIE: Long Tentacle Anemone

    LOCATION: This species is found in Japan, and south to the waters of New Guinea and northern Australia.

    HABITAT: This species is commonly found at depths of 5 metres or less in muddy bottoms, and is commonly seen without fish present.

    SIZE: Upto 2cm Upto 0.2kg

    DIET: The Long Tentacle Anemone is a carnivore.They derive daily nutrition from their symbiotic algae, zooxanthellae, which dwells within their tissues. In captivity you can feed your M. doreensis chopped silversides, shrimp, krill, and mussels, fresh chopped fish (from your grocery store), as well as frozen carnivore preparations. If the food is not small enough, they will regurgitate it.

    FACT: Like an ostrich, the Long Tentacle Anemone can completely cover itself in the sand if it is scared!
