Summer Science Programmes – 2023
2nd to 27th May 2023
- Gujarat Science City, working under the aegis of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat is organizing several activities during the summer vacation to beat the heat of summer for the school children from Std. VI to XI.
- Gujarat Science City is organizing various innovative activities and programmes for a varied group of school students from 2nd to 27th May 2023 during this summer vacation. The programme has been designed in various categories i.e. Workshop, Popular Science Lecture, Hands-on Demonstrations, Screening of Scientific Films and Sky Observation
- It would be a wonderful time for exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematic (STEM) in diverse classes that take advantage of the Science City’s unique, state-of-the-art resources. There are over 350 various workshops including Block Coding, hardware Coding, 3D Printing, Electronics Circuit Making, Wonder of Chemistry, Fun with Physics, Telescope Making, Identification of Rocks and Minerals, Internet of Things (IoT) for Home Automation, Mystery of Butterfly, Plant Tissue Culture, Creative Science Writing, Model Rocketry, Learn through Origami and many more. Hands-On Science Camp takes place in different pavilions for Science Learning and Innovation, housing cutting-edge classrooms and labs.
- Students participants may explore science and have an experience that they will never forget. The hands-on activities at Gujarat Science City offer science-rich, fun-filled experiences for childrens.
- School Children of different standards will do science in a modern environment that includes large-scale experiment platforms and equipments designed for maximum hands-on investigation. All these activities include some physical activity and outdoor fields and conclude with a film show and interactive talk.
