Qualifications
:
Ph.D: Robotics / Mechatronics ( In Robotics/Mechatronics ) with Pass Class from reputed institute / university; (Only Candidates having Full Time Ph.D will be permitted)

   Eligibility Criteria:

·  Ph.D. Degree in Robotics / Mechatronics from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State or a Provincial Act in India or any other Educational Institute recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

                          ·  The candidate should have minimum 07 years of total experience post Ph.D in Museum Curation/Teaching/Science Communication.


 

                          ·   Upper age should not be more than 47 years on the last day of application.

Job Profile:

 

The Senior Curator (Robotics Gallery) is an expert in content creation and concept of the different theme-based galleries in Science City. The candidate make decisions about what content and programme should be shared in the gallery, and when. He/She should have administrative role with a flair for creativity and a passion for aesthetics. The job outlook for a senior curator is expected to grow faster than average.

The Senior Curator is to be a partner with scientists or managerial team either working with the Science City’s exhibits, materials or preparing exhibits and activities that the institution may want to either acquire or accept on loan.

 

She/he should be good in scientific communication that plays an important part in Curation. Curators must both prepare education and outreach materials for public understanding and reach out to potential funding agencies and organizations for academic collaboration and financial support for specific projects or programs.

 

The senior curator for Robotic Gallery will have overall in charge of the Robotics gallery for maintaining, up-keeping and developing new exhibits and content Curation for visitor’s engagement and experience. The candidate must manage the entire team that involves, for example, delegating, priority-setting, budgeting, coordinating, maintaining standards, and providing comprehensive training to new team members. S/he has to assist General Manager in the work assigned to them.

 

When it comes to robotic gallery, the senior curator must well experience in computer programming and domain expertise to take artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, etc., to be incorporated across the spectrum, from visitor experience to behind the scenes, and the technology can - and has - come in many forms.

 

The candidate will be responsible for smooth and seamless functioning of the exhibits and movement of the visitors. S/he will work on any other responsibilities assigned by authority from time to time.

Monthly Salary: INR 75,000/- (On the basis of Cost to Company)
