Qualifications

Ph.D: Biological Science ( In Any ) with Pass Class from reputed institute / university; (Only Candidates having Full Time Ph.D will be permitted)

  Post Eligibility Criteria:


·   Ph.D. Degree in Biological Science from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State or a Provincial Act in India or any other Educational Institute recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

 

·     Upper age should not be more than 42 years on the last day of application.

Job Profile:

 

  • The Assistant Curator should work with the Senior Curator in design and developing creative content and concept of the different theme-based galleries as well as programmes and outreach activities in Science City. The candidate should have flair for creativity and a passion for aesthetics.

  • The Assistant Curator is to be a partner with scientists or managerial team either working with the Science City’s exhibits, materials or preparing exhibits and activities that the institution may want to either acquire or accept on loan.

 

  • She/he should be good in scientific communication that plays a big part in curation, assisting in preparing education and outreach materials for public understanding and reach out to different organizations for academic collaboration and financial support for specific projects or programs.

 

  • The candidate will be responsible for smooth and seamless functioning of the exhibits and movement of the visitors. S/he will work on any other responsibilities assigned by authority from time to time.




 

Monthly Salary: INR 50,000/- (On the basis of Cost to Company)
