ABOUT SCIENCE CITY

Gujarat Council of Science City is a society established by the Government of Gujarat and registered under the Society Registration Act of 1860. It was officially registered on 10th August 1999. Working under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, the council is dedicated to connecting citizens with science and fostering scientific temperament, especially among young minds, through entertainment and experiential learning.

Spread over a lush green area of more than 107 hectares, Gujarat Council of Science City aims to create imaginative exhibits, virtual reality activity corners, and live demonstrations in a manner that is easy to understand. The facility features contemporary and creative exhibits, hands-on experiences, working models, and virtual reality activities, all designed to engage and educate the public about science and technology.

Gujarat Science City offers a variety of attractions, including IMAX 3D theatre, Energy Park, Life Science Park, Planet Earth, Hall of Space & Hall of Science, Musical Fountain, Thrill Ride, Nature Park, Robotics and Aquatics gallery.
